This CD has four tracks on it: Cannonball, Take Me Away, Over and Out, and Remote Control. It also contains a video interview.
The first two tracks are fabulous. They're darker than the last two, and are quite rocky in the original term of the word (until rock started to be sliced into idiotic subgenres). Cannonball is fabulous, with a great guitar tune and heavy drum beats. Take Me Away is destined to be huge; Nirvanaesque, as I said in the gig review. It has a very heavy distorted guitar in the back ground, very eclectic. Absolutely ideal for drowning out nagging family members.
Over and Out is more nu-punky. The guitar riff in the centre is fab, but this is a little poppy for me. I do prefer the darker stuff. Remote Control is also poppy, but not as. This is a little happier, but completely meaningless, so all you angst ridden "moshers" probably won't like it. |
