Spencer Gibb
Born into a family of entertainers, you could say that Spencer Gibb has music in his blood. A performer since his early teens, he has refined his talent and channeled life experience into some of the most remarkable songs of his generation. Spencer’s haunting, emotive voice melds perfectly with swirling guitar textures and melancholy yet heartening lyrics. The end result is an introspective, uplifting journey for each listener.
Having lived and played in numerous cities around the world, Spencer counts among his influences such legends as the Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Led Zeppelin and Stevie Wonder. Upon moving to Austin, he shared a stage with Will Sexton on his very first night in town. Since then he has played with artists comprising a who’s who of Texas favourites.
A man of many talents, Spencer also holds the titles of photographer, producer, actor and artist. He currently plays with his band, 54 Seconds, who is releasing a new album this spring.
